DCS Cockpit Triggers Guide Available

EvilBivol-1

Recommended Posts

We've prepared a short document describing the various cockpit triggers available in the ME and used primarily to create interactive training lessons for DCS flyable aircraft.

While cockpit triggers are considered a dev tool, most of their functionality is available to the end-user. However, some of the triggers require use of the in-game console, which is disabled in public versions.

Have fun!

Curious why some of these work off line but not online.  I set a voice file to play for trigger pull and a voice file for weapons release.  They work fine off line but not online.  Disappointing for me since 100% of my flying is online.  Similar results when using mission start to have radio chatter play on the carrier freq.  Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't online.

Hello!
I am just playing around with the Viggens accelerometer.
I am using the trigger condition "PLAYER'S UNIT ARGUMENT I RANGE.
Argument: 136
Min: -0.3
Max: -0.05
I just want to sense negative g's ... thats all.
Why does this not work, und much more important: How can I get this work?

Detecting instruments readings is tricky, I’d employ an alternative approach, by testing against an aircraft parameter insted, like "BASE_SENSOR_VERTICAL_ACCEL"

Hey Rudel, thanks for your reply on this!
I am already testing my mission with this little trick and currently it works like a charm; I had no other complications or deficiencies with that.

The guide that @EvilBivol-1 wrote, is still valid on dcs 2.8, as the cockpit triggers have not changed over the years.
