There has been no official word on the variants, but with pics of AV8B cockpit and Gr9 external(Razbam FB page), I assume we will get both at some stage. Most likely GR first. I'm more of a WW2 fan tbh, but I'd buy a Sea Harrier (which I know even the GR's aren't exactly) the second it came out... particularly if they had a few ships in a rather narrow channel. ;-)VEAO already has plans to make a Sea Harrier FRS1 to go with the Falklands War Map in the future. Long story short, it'll arrive when F-18 arrives, and 3rd parties wanting to use ED's A/G radar functionality will have to wait for that. Though, LN is doing their own ground mapping radar for Viggen, even if older generation and less sophisticated. They even received radar sets from upgraded F/A-18As. It would be stupid to the same work twice. Once the Av-8, F-18 and Corsair are released I will be in flight sim heaven.
