[CLOSED]Flashing buildings/trees (z fighting?)

When I have black hot or white hot enabled on the TGP, if I look at buildings or trees that are far in the distance, it makes it look like they are shimmering or changing between white and black repeatedly. Perhaps it's z fighting?

My graphics settings are all on max except depth of field is OFF.

I get this too, its like viewing a row of LED lights on TV (they flicker like a 'Mexican wave').

The effect seems to be like the objects become semi-transparent, resulting in odd appearance and flickering. I have seen this on bridges, and on Shilkas when viewing them through the TGP in black hot or white hot mode. In normal TV mode they render correctly.

While a thermal image might have some ability to see "into" an object (if there are hot things inside, like an engine), I doubt I should be able to see through a concrete road bridge clearly enough to make out the support pylons and the stream running under it! :-)

We got the same problem, in my virtual squadron at least six or seven reported that, we use both nvidia and radeon graphics cards.

Same to me :(

Have this problem in some other games also......so it must be a failure of NVIDIA drivers?

SiThSpAwN,

A quick check in a quick mission seems to suggest that this has indeed been fixed. I saw some very minor flickering at the base of a bridge, but that might be a separate issue. I'll verify more thoroughly when I have time (although most likely someone else will do that before long).

All in all, looking good, looking good :) Thanks!
