No, the Throttle has no electronics inside, you need to connect it to a TM Cougar Joystick, or purchase one of these: http://realsimulator.com/html/tusba.html

Yes, rewire is possible, easy and cheap - depends on your DIY skill.*

You need a ~$6 Arduino PRO Micro + MMjoy2 firmware.

Could do a external rewire - TUSBA style:

Or do a more elegant re-wire placing the controller inside..

Can use TLE5010/11 contacless sensor in digital mode or GVL224 MagREZ contacless sensor in analog mode, or DIY HALL sensor assembly with Allegro A1324, Honeywell SS495A1

TQS buttons/HAT's is connected through a 4x4 diode matrix.

* If don't have skill, TUSBA 1 or 2 has good price for a "PnP" solution.

It looks easy to do. I have CH Products F-16 Fighterstick (DB15) and my question is ... may I do the same way? But I do not have orginal joystick wire pinout.

Yes, is the same thing. But in CH F-16 Fightestick (DB-15) you need fit the controller inside and connect their axes potentiometer adding a 3rd wire in each (GnD, Signal, +5V), why you can't use the DB-15 connector, this don't have pins for this 3rd wire in pot.

In this old DB-15 (gameport) joystick potentiometer is wired as resistance and use 2 wires.

In modern USB controller potentiomter is wired as voltage variation and use 3 wires.

The (Fighterstick) grip connector is for 5x4 Matrix, so don't need make changes inside grip, only match this 5x4 Matrix connector in cable coming from grip with the matrix input of USB controller used.

No, F16FLCS/F22PRO TQS is different from Cougar - has more electronics inside and diferent wiring, Cougar TQS is "brainless" - rely on electronics on Cougar joystick.

Other difference is the device under thumb, is Cougar is a analog mini-stick + press button (PS3 like), in F16FLCS/F22PRO is a kind of mouse (similar to old IBM laptops mouse) and due lack orf support in USB controllers available for DIY need be replaced with mini-stick, or HAT, e.g. Alps 4+1 switch.
