Su questa macchina (ovviamente la versione civile...) ci ho volato qualche anno fa e devo dire che è notevole, sono davvero curioso di vederla all' opera in particolare l' implementazione del modello di volo relativamente al fenestron in coda e il SAS...

 

 

Ci volavi in qualità di pilota?

Ottimo: oltre al tuo parere sarà (sarebbe) interessante sentire anche il suo, se un giorno avrà la voglia/possibilità di provare la versione su DCS.

Sono parecchio curioso pure di metterci sopra le mani: è un po' che non mi prendo un modulo, soprattutto pensando di usarlo sul serio. Anche se le mie aspettative sono più focalizzate nel Bo-105, è possibile che un successo di questo modulo porti un po' più di gente a focalizzarsi sulla parte a terra di questo sim. (i.e. il significativo lavoro che sta portando avanti MBot sul progetto DCE non avrà alcun aspetto di terra simulato, ad oggi)

The thing is, helicopters are different from planes. An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

Infatti non mi aspetto nulla di eccezionale, fermo restando che per un teatro con operazioni COIN è probabilmente più divertente volare un Gazelle che un Kamov o un Mi-24. Mi rende comunque molto contento vedere che qualcuno ci sta mettendo l'anima sulle pale, anche perché chissà quando la Belsimtek tornerà a focalizzarsi sugli elicotteri.
