Higher zoom levels through use of binoculars is, in my opinion something that DCS really really needs.

For many missions an aircraft would always have binoculars in the pit.

As an Mi-8 pilot, I really really want this. Being able to circle at a distance to spot AAA would be of huge benefit. Flying into a city to find AAA is a very bad idea.

In all honesty, I think mission designers putting AAA in big cities is unfair. Frame rates crawl in cities, and most players have limited scene complexity and view distance for this reason. Same as how placing units in wooded areas should be avoided.

Exactly! Having my crew spot targets for me would also be a huge help. Doing all the work myself is a little tiring

Since there is the release of more classic ("simple" was used in a different topic) airframes, the OV-10 would be the perfect platform to introduce it.
