Thanks for the link.....Honestly I'm retiring from everything to play DCS HIND.

As much as I love the fixies in DCS, the HELO's are breaking new ground with my enjoyment.

I finally found the time to watch this documentary. That's indeed a great find.

Really great - they even had some footage of a Mi-24 in Afghanistan flying outside of its proper envelope (there are rumours that someone looped it to the horror of the designers).

I just wish they had shown a photo of the rear gunner equipped prototype or the 10xFAB-100 loadout (I'm still not sure what multiple rack was used - MDB-4?).

I fell in love with this helicopter since the Digital integration sim and spend hundreds of hours with it. I'll certainly buy the DCS version.

IIRC Mi-8 and Mi-24 shared a lot of components. That will make the creation of the Hind a bit easier I think.

Yeah, for instance the trick about the tail rotor and how they simply turned it 180° looked very familiar from the Mi-8 documentary I'd watched a while ago.

We have now crew members that can engage the enemy, maybe that can be applied to a future Hind?
