macky Posted April 24, 2018 Share Posted April 24, 2018 I am on vacation in Coronado, San Diego, CA. On a morning run I found myself at the gates of the NAS North Island. When I returned I went to Google maps and while on satelite view I found an F18 that seems to have had some kind of an emergency. Looks like it is missing a piece of wing and that it also made use of the hook and wire! What do you guys know? With all the f18 hype out there I thought you guys might be interested.
