Guidelines Regarding Assets Used in User Modifications

Notice:

All Assets used within User Mods Must have proof of ownership and / or written permission from Author to be used within DCS World.

These Include:

-3D Models (In Part or In Full)

-Textures

-Sounds

-UI Elements (Images/Logos/Icons Etc)

-Code (Custom Animations/Systems Code etc)

3D Models and Texture Sets Purchased from Sites (ie TurboSquid),

Must Follow the Author's Written EULA / License Agreement And May Require Additional License Agreements w/ Manufacturers (ie Grumman, Sukhoi, Lockheed, Boeing etc etc)

3D Models and Textures "Acquired / Downloaded" from Sites that Re-Distribute 3D Models w/o Written Permission from the Original Author or Without Posted License Agreements are Not Valid.

These include:

-Forums/Message Boards,

(This Includes Re-Distributing Previous work done by another user in part or in full, even if no longer maintained [ie Porting OLD FC2 Mods to DCSW] )

-3D Object Dump Sites etc,

(Where 3D Objects are taken without permission from other sites and / or game engines and Posted for download.)

If you Do NOT know who the Author is, then You Do NOT have Permission to Re-Distribute their work.

Without Written Permission from the Original Author Directly or Through Authentic/Verified License Agreement Posted,

Any User Modification Cannot be Posted, Referenced, Nor Re-Distributed through ED Forums or digitalcombatsimulator.com's Users Files.

This Includes:

-Creating Topic Threads Pertaining to User Mod

-External Links to Discussions for User Mod (Facebook, Other Forums etc)

-External Links to User Mod (Drop Box, Google Drive, etc etc)

Furthermore, No User Modifications are Permitted to Re-Distribute Any Eagle Dynamics owned I.P.

These Include:

-Protected/UnProtected DLLs and Associated LUA Code

-Cockpit EDM Files

-External Model EDM Files

Any User Modifications Suspected/Found to Be in Violation of these Guide Lines will be removed, and possibly receive Administrative Action until Verified Permission and/or License Agreement is Provided.
