Resetting snapview values to 0 made it look much better in VR for me. It still felt a little high on the seat and a bit too much back but I manually adjusted it and then saved the view. It had all crazy values in there by default. Some were negative too.

Before doing that, I sit square in my seat and look far in front, and hit Num5.

"Allow user snap views" is required in the config.
