ivo
Its seem I can't intecept the path when I'm on stright on carrier like the normal Landing the vertical line on HUD its is Always on the right instead with tacan visual its is perfecly centered Edited March 23, 2019 by ivo cpu:I7-6700k Z170 16GB Ram DDR4 Gtx 1080 8Gb DDR5 11GBs SSD 500 Gb 2 HDD 1Tb Evga supernova G2 850w Case Bequiet series 800 Silent base Win 10 pro 64 bit My wishlist: F-35/B-17G/F4U Corsair/Yak-3/P-40B Tomahawk
Naquaii
Have you set the HUD and/or VDI AWL to ACL? Otherwise you could be looking at the ILS needles instead of the ACL.
ivo
Thank for reply, yes but nothing, I have the vertical line left and switch quickly to right...and I'm exactly on the direction for carrier like a manual landing...bohhh cpu:I7-6700k Z170 16GB Ram DDR4 Gtx 1080 8Gb DDR5 11GBs SSD 500 Gb 2 HDD 1Tb Evga supernova G2 850w Case Bequiet series 800 Silent base Win 10 pro 64 bit My wishlist: F-35/B-17G/F4U Corsair/Yak-3/P-40B Tomahawk
Simon1279
Same thing for me and then i end up with a Foxtrot Oscar radio call and i'm going to land it manually which is easier for me [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] I7 8700K @ 4.9 ghz, SSD 850 evo, MSI Z370 Gaming Pro, GTX 1080Ti, F/A-18C in the garage, F-16C in the backyard, F-14B in the garden
Naquaii
Are you guys getting the ACL Ready light? If not please make sure that the http://www.heatblur.se/F-14Manual/cockpit.html#radar-beacon-control-panel is on in the back seat. I'm guessing there might be a bug with Jester if it's not on if you're flying single.

Naquaii
Are you getting the ACL Ready light? The Voice light basically means that there's something missing for ACLS. The window for hooking up is quite narrow though, especially if in close. I'd suggest hooking up quite far out with the needles more or less already correct. Kayos
Is your autopilot on ACL? It’s the furthest switch, has to be in the down position. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ivo
Then I have made one Landing with auto pilot...finally but most important -how high the altitude must be -from which distance the path is intercepted -what is the optimal speed and why I have to for intercept the path Always turn right and left ? and why when I'm stright on carrier at about 3000ft and 200kts the path is not intercetp? The LT
You also need to be trimmed for neutral stick before you press NWS on glideslope. The LT
They are quite wide but you want to be right on glideslope as otherwise it will oscillate wildly Sent from my ONEPLUS A6010 using Tapatalk My controls & seat Main controls: , BRD-N v4 Flightstick (Kreml C5 controller), TM Warthog Throttle (Kreml F3 controller), BRD-F2 Restyling Bf-109 Pedals w. damper, TrackIR5, Gametrix KW-908 (integrated into RAV4 seat) Stick grips: Thrustmaster Warthog Thrustmaster Cougar (x2) Thrustmaster F-16 FLCS BRD KG13 Standby controls: BRD-M2 Mi-8 Pedals (Ruddermaster controller) BRD-N v3 Flightstick w. exch. grip upgrade (Kreml C5 controller) Thrustmaster Cougar Throttle Pilot seat
jojo
Thank to all, but, what are the degrees in height and wigth of the interception cone? I think it will be easier to arrive at the gate in good conditions if you fly a proper CASE 3 approach. http://www.users.on.net/~jase_ash/http:/www.users.on.net/~jase_ash/city-life-photos/styled-8/ You should intercept glideslope at 3Nm/ 1200ft. But I bet like ILS capture mode, you capture the ACLS glidesope from beneath it (you establish level under the glideslope, capture, and when you reach the path the system will begin the descent). It's against forum's rules to post NATOPS link, but you can find online F-14B NATOPS, and ACLS is described in great details Chapter 17. Mirage fanatic !
