The F-14 is such a beautiful beast, it just radiates raw power, in such a way no other plane can. Damn, I really regret I've never seen it in 'real life'. I did see Hogs outside an airshow, flying over the city quite low (200m). I was all drowzy and barely able to concentrate on the road, and then I heard a destinct sound, I thought: great, you're getting mad from too much lomac. Then I looked overhead and saw a pair of A-10s flying overhead, and I couldn't be happier. The Hog made my day, hell, week back then. I may be whining for Soviet aircraft, but they just hold a big mystery value, the A-10, Tornado, F-14 and B-1 are just awesome.

There are several fan sites out there that also have plenty of tomcat pictures, such as these

I was fortunate enough to go to the Tomcat Sunset last friday. It was great to see that bird one last time. Its a real shame, and all of the pilots and RIO's that I talked to hated to see it go, and had nothing but praise for the jet.

Tomcats Forever!
