Hi please include your dcs.log after the crash and your system spec, we may see some clues.

A cleanup and repair to remove any unofficial mods is also recommended.

Thanks

Hi

had a look at the log, could not see the crash in it, does it crash to desk top? or just freeze?

I am not able to reproduce myself at this time, If you can attach the log straight after the crash we would like to check for clues.

I've just had chance to get online again, and try it, it's still doing it.

I was on the through the inferno Caucasus PVE server, and as soon as I hit the MFD button to show the SA page it instantly froze.

It is not a CTD, the game freezes, and I have to ctrl alt del and kill the process, I can still hear in game sounds, but have a frozen image of the cockpit on my screen.

I have the log from just after the crash as requested...

Thanks for the log.

Nothing obvious the log just seems to stop at that point.

Is your NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 using the latest drivers?

Also do you still have the track replay in your tracks / multiplayer folder

If so link it I would be happy to try and take a look.

I'm wondering if it's anything to do with lag/latency on MP, because if I'm playing SP, or if I host a server, and launch it as the only player in it it's not happening (yet).

The other thing is, the data link is working, as I get data link contacts on my radar page, as long as I don't switch an MFD to the actual SA page itself I have no problem.

The track file should only be a minute or so long, as I was only starting up, never even go airborne.

Thanks Cap'n kamikaze

unfortunately the track will not play correctly for me, I get moose scripting errors ( probably due a database issue )

Are you able to reproduce this in single player?

No' date=' in SP it's totally fine, and in the MP mission I hosted it's working fine, guess it must be an issue on that server.[/quote']

It is possible, I will try to get on there and test at some point

thanks

Hi,

I am still not abale to reproduce this.

What I am looking for is a short track replay, the shorter the better showing the crash, I can run it repeatedly to try and reproduce then. Can you reproduce this on a air start ?

Not sure if I can do that, it's only showing up when I'm a client on multiplayer, and I've never been on a server that did air starts.

I can trigger it in the air, I'll just not select the page until airborne, I usually select it before getting airborne to see what's going on.

If you can get a short track showing crash on the ground that will do fine.

Trouble with long MP tracks is they end up being huge, and then trying to run them over and over gets very time consuming, especially if I am not abale to reproduce.

With a shorter track I can run it repeatedly to try and force the crash.

Yes unfortunately, I did try.

I know this must be frustrating, as far as I can tell you are the only one I am aware of having this particular issue.

Try the usual cleanup and repair and ensure windows and gpu drivers are up to date.

I am having this exact same issue (and have been for a while). Works fine in SP, every multiplayer server I join, as soon as I hit the SA page the entire game freezes. I have tried a full reinstall of DCS and same issue.

GTX 1080 latest drivers, intel i9 system 32 GB of ram, Win 10

Let me know if you want to see any additional logs - something I noticed in my DxDiag tool:
