Mohamengina
Would be great to have a custom liverie system in the game that could be exported to other players in multiplayer servers and an option to share custom liveries with others.
Jonne
Oh please no! Every single game I have seen with something like that possible had 50% of pink tanks/aircrafts/racecars/whatever covered with anime girls. For the sake of realism and my eyes it is good to have the liveries restricted. Yes it would be cool to have your own personal aircraft, but humanity is just not capable of handling such a feature. Knock-Knock
And just the sheer size of that data transfer when ever you set foot in a popular public server. Liveries in DCS are huge, and often copious. 23 F-14 liveries, 3.8Gb 29 MiG-21 liveries, 5.8Gb Can also be made smaller, 23 random F/A-18C liveries, 813mb. 11 Mirage 2000C liveries, 244mb Should give a good idea of potential large data transfers, when joining a server.. and disc space. - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |

No, they are not that big. The F-14 liveries will be somewhere around 60MB. You are probably thinking of the template files. They are around 3.8GB A single F-14 livery is around 160-180mb, and 23 of them (the F-14 livery folder) is 3.8gb. And if you check custom liveries, then above 200mb usually, and even some at 400mb (complete new set of roughness files). - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
