I guess they’ll correct me if I’m wrong, but I have seen this video linked from the Belsimtec staff before, and I think I remember a comment in that post saying that one of the Belsimtec staff was flying...

But I might be remembering wrong and I can’t search right now because breakfast is calling :-)

It makes me sad checking this Forum for the last 2 years and seeing no news at all for the Mi-8, I think the only consolation is to think that you guys are working on the Mi-24P.
we rotor heads really need something new from you awesome people of Belsimtek !

To be fair, there have been quiet a number of updates and improvements to the Mi-8 since release. However, the one thing the Mi-8 really needs in multiplayer crew, especially pilot, co-pilot and gunner positions. I really hope this still happens!

From the most recent development shots we have seen, the Mi-24P still seems some way off at this stage. Hope I'm wrong on that.

Oh really? I claim that a cockpit graphic overhaul is very good for the module.

The Mi-8 is my favorite!

Multicrew would be nice but not more. MY opinion.

I would like to see an expansion pack for the Mi-8.

Pay 15 Bucks and we will get an bombing vizier and cluster bombs or firebombs.
Or an ground crew team. Medical Team. Visible units in the cargo bay if you are transporting troops. A winch for fastroping special unit and so on. No pay to win strategie, but cooler gadgets for those who want an extra for their beloved module.

Its an win win Situation.

I like these ideas. Especially the crew winch, which would be neat for plucking downed pilots out of the sea (this mechanism really needs to exist, given the carrier-based nature of DCS!).

Oh, and so we can operate it off the upcoming supercarrier module, can we have a fictional US navy-grey and US coastguard red-white paintscheme addeds too? Thanks!

I'd certainly pay something in the vicinity of $15 for an upgrade pack.

Or an upgraded version (like for the KA-50)…
An Mi-8MTV5....mmmmmm

Regarding the Mi-24, I think that at this stage it is still a dream....which will not become reality for a few months or even years...

Hi guys, just coming back to the Mi-8 after many years not flying it (3 years maybe). And I'm really enjoying it.

I would pay 10-15 bucks too for an extension pack, something like multi crew, graphic overhaul, and a new variant as suggested. I compltely disagree with the EA policy with F-16 and F/A-18 (empty shell at full price), I would agree to pay a little to maintain older very good modules like the Hog or the Hip up to date
