Refueling without rudder pedal

I am curious. Is it really easier to refuel using rudder pedals?

I am training to refuel my picky M-2000 with my X56, no pedal a stiff twist axis, and so far I am struggling...

F-16C, M2000C, Persian Gulf

I never touch'em, unless Im refueling while banking, then I find it easier with a bit of rudder. But straight and level, never - any module.

I was not born, but I am anyway nostalgic of that old heroic and dangerous period. When car racing was about mechanic and not electronic...
