I Will Personally Vote For J-10CE

Has anyone heard about the export version of the J-10?

I just heard that the J-10 has an export version which is called J-10CE.

Deka, please consider making this one if avilable, currently the Redfor aircrafts in DCS are way too old.

TBH, old aircrafts are kind boring...they can only do one or two things, and can't do well enough. My friends and me will get bored super quick, for example, the Viggen, we got bored in one week after purchased the module (personal preference).

Incredible ... I really cant understand the new generations, they seem to live on a permanent state of boredom :(

Yesterday's update bringed a second free Campaign for the Viggen, with 10 missions. That is in addition to its previous 5-mission mini-Campaign. Perhaps this new Campaign can entertain you for a few more days.

For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra

For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600X - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia GTX1070ti - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar - Oculus Rift CV1

Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Well, sorry about that, but it is true that modern aircrafts have way more functionalities than the old ones.

I bought the JF-17 at the first day and it was just mind-blowing how much fun it is. JF-17 is the go-to aircraft for me in DCS and I havn't touched any other aircraft in half a month now.

In the past, if I want to attack ground targets, I would choose K-50 or the Viggen in red team. Right now I can do AA and AG mission at the same time using JF17. JF17 is like the F18c for the red team but with less capacity than the hornet.

You cannot really learn a module within a week. Especially the one like Viggen which has a very specific role. I am guessing these guys are more into Hornet types of jets which are pretty much point and shoot and good vs air targets.

Viggen requires pre planning and percision coords to work affectively, you cannot just take it to mission area and decide what to do next like with most modern jets.

I use it for taking out SAMs using the cluster munition since the jet can fly super fast and low to the ground, it does not get intercepted easy because in pvp most jets cannot even catch up to it that low to ground.

Back to the actual topic. I also would love to see a J-10 in the game. Frankly majority of jets which that J20 guy listed are ancient and not that interesting. The ones people voted for most looked modern in shape and didnt have nose intakes. They didnt even bother reading the features because those jets dont really offer much.

Current Hangar : A-10C II ¦ AJS-37 ¦ A/V-8B ¦ F-14A/B ¦ F/A-18C ¦ FC3 ¦ JF-17 ¦ Ka-50 III ¦ Mi-8 ¦ M2000-C ¦ SA342 ¦ UH-1H

Other Modules : Combined Arms ¦ Persian Gulf

TRAINED - LEARNING - LOW EXPERIENCE - ABANDONED

Yeah like you said, my friends and me are more interested in modern multi-roll fighters. Besides the personal preference, I believe nobody will be disaoopinted if we do see the J-10CE come up in DCS.

Wait, is this the same guy who got a thread banned the other day due to "Spy work"??

There is no way something as advanced as J-10C were be allowed to be made into a DCS, unless Deka wants to be arrested for treason and leak state's secret. You want other's "state secrets" just because you are "bored"?

I am pretty certain that Deka develops these aircrafts with military's permission. So if they end up taking interest in this jet for DCS, I am sure they will consult with the Chinese military first.

If I recall watching some recent news, China is looking to make this jet available for export but so far with no success.

I don't know anything about OP doing spywork but I have great interest in the jet because of the last model's thrust vectoring.

Hello? I just speak out my opinion. I never got banned due to "spy work".

Your post is offensive.

They have said they can’t do frontline line Chinese fighters. They “joked” on Jabbers interview about the reward for Chinese nationals if they report a leak of state secrets in response to a question about modern planes like J-10.. I’m pretty sure they have explicitly stated so in the past, they would love to do J-10 or J-11, but it can’t happen at full fidelity right now. Take a look at the interview if you haven’t it.

I would set my hopes on AI, i think it would be a waste of hope when they themselves have said they can’t do it. JF-17 seems to be a very unique case. It was exported ten years ago using a more traditional design that’s been evolving since the 80s. The J-10CE was literally just announced at the Dubai Airshow.

This is the picture posted when someone asked about possible flyable J-15 https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3503458&postcount=7

Ah, okay. Well that explains why we never see any chinese jets in any other games either.

Kumabit you seem to be glass-cockpit-only, you have anything against J-8II F??? They have said in the Jabbers interview that this is a possibility along with Q-5, which depending on the variant can also be pretty advanced, some domestic ones even had Doppler navigation. The J-8II F is possible, can do Mach 2.0+ at 60,000 feet. Slinging PL-12/SD-10 from that height would be a fun addition. It would work perfectly with escorting JF-17s.

It’s also true REDFOR fighter like they teased in the quick start manual, and is a natural fit in DCS world as a showcase of the first completely indeginous PLAAF fighter. Coming before the JF-17, it makes us see how China got there. It would fit tactically and be an informative addition especially for people who know little about Chinese aerospace industry

If anyone wanted a Su-15 this is like a faster glass pit fox three equivalent with a gun and pulse Doppler radar:) Some even had aerial refueling

I just speak out my preference, is there anything wrong with that? Also, I am Chinese myself, I absolutely know that we won't get any "self-use" version of PLAAF fighters. However, the J-10CE is an export version, I am just asking for the possibility.

I want more modern Redfor fighters because it is a pain in the ass to fight against the F18c and F16 in MP servers right now. Sorry, I only play MP.

I mostly play MP also and always REDFOR. Nothing wrong with your preference, just don’t want you to be disappointed. There are obstacles that make us have to keep our expectations in check. Plus I think we might as well enjoy it, kicking ass against Teen series fighters with an older plane (or one without HMD like JF-17) is part of the game and fun.

JF-17 is the most modern fighter in DCS and will likely stay that way for many years. I wish we had a plethora of REDFOR as modern as our Viper and Hornet, but I and likely hundreds of others gave up long ago

I won't get disappointed if not seeing the J-10CE in DCS. I will buy whatever we get in the future.

A Chinese who tries to leak their own state secret?? This thread is capital offense.

Are you trolling or is this really how the Chinese government operates?

I don't know if simply asking for an aircraft to be developed next is considered "leaking state secrets".

But then again if lines were this thin then we would never have seen a JF-17 in DCS.

America works the same way for citizens, but I doubt it’s advertised. There’s information about it somewhere

Sorry but I can’t find the Q&A/statement/interview that “jokes” about the consequences of doing a modern front line PLA plane. I though it was on Jabbers interview but couldn’t find it, then I thought it was on the bilibili interview but couldn’t find it.

I’m just happy we have JF-17, I think it was very specific set of circumstances that brought it to us and we are very lucky. As Deka said in the bilibili interview (

) in response to a question about possible FC-20 module they answered “dreams are for when you sleep.” The J-10CE right now as far as is publicly known only exists in mock up form. The JF-17 first flew in 2003 and it is now 16 years later. Entered service in 2010. FC-20 basically being a J-10CE(I guess the FC-20 as it was when almost purchased by Pakistan ten years ago would’ve been based on B model), prepare to wait a really long time

Deka themselves has said here before they would love to do J-10, if they could

DCS/ED has a very specific set of rules regarding which planes can be made available. There’s really no room (imho) for preferences based on “we got bored after a week.”

Sounds like you may want to check out some other flight games which have a much larger pool of aircraft from which to choose.
