(f-18) call sign Ford 7-1 Number 307 if he call the ATC it says 671 .... last time it was Ford 7-1 (2-3 month ago) were does this number comes from? is it changeable? would nice to have 307 if i (F-14) call ATC he comes with my callsign (chevy 5-1) aka WarLord DCSFlightpanels DCS-BIOS Fork DCSFlightpanels arduino-library DCSFlightpanels DCSFlightpanels-Profiles DCS FP / BIOS Discord Server
Grimes
It is a bug or two with the radio system, both related to the carrier ATC that have snuck into public builds. Just have to wait for a fix. Basically with the carrier ATC it is supposed to use the tail number of the aircraft when doing communications with the ship. This is one bug because it is applying that logic to all F-18 communications. The other bug is that it isn't grabbing the tail number but actually how the callsign is stored. Instead of saving "Ford" as a string in the files there is a table of callsigns in the game and each index represents a string. Ford is stored at index 6, thus "671" for Ford 7-1. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Yoda967
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but has anyone come up with a work around? In the mission I'm building, my Ford and Uzi flights identify themselves only by Eastern-style numbers, and the Enfield flight calls itself by its callsign.
