DST
I noticed some random engine failures with the Su 27 today, when flying relatively low with low RPM, bird strike is switched off, and also no random system failures activated, what could be the reason for this? Its always only one engine and the russian message for "engine fire" can also be heard, but no fire or smoke can be seen. Is this some kind of bug or is this intended? I flew quite a lot FC3-Jets a few months ago, but never noticed something like that in the Su27 before. Any suggestions? DarkFire
Weird. Were you at negative G or inverted at the time? The Su-27 only has a 500Kg (IIRC) cache tank for the fuel system, which is gravity fed, so it's very easy to flame out the engines if you're at zero or negative G for longer than a few seconds, especially at low altitude. Not sure about the fire warning though.
