New X52 but pitch still off center

Got a brand new X52 set today. It is perfectly centered in control panel and P3DV4 but in DCS the pitch axis is off-centre.

I know there is nothing wrong with the joystick. It seems like DCS is remembering the old off-centre setting. I deleted the .lua files from .....\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\AV8BNA\joystick\ but it still is not right.

Any suggestions folks ?

Thanks

Please describe exactly how you calibrate the x52 in Windows. Thanks.

Plug in X 52.

Control panel/view devices and printers/ right click X 52 icon/game control settings/Properties.

Then calibrate. I do it every time I use it.

Calibration in Windows 10 is not possible. Besides, I have no need to calibrate it. It is dead center. Works fine in P3DV4.

Only in DCS does the pitch axis go off..

OK, I get you.

Centred in windows and out in pitch in DCS.

Mine was the the same.

I close the game, pull the X52 plug out and in and restart DCS.

It resets itself.

I never start the pc with the plug in, as it is usually off centre.
