Silver_Dragon
In the last time, we see to Eagle Dynamics talk about your new graphic engine and theatre engine. If I remember the old graphic engine was LOMAC, but I not remember the name of that engine, and the previous versions (Flanker, Flanker 2.0) engine name. Actually the engine name has EDGE, (Eagle Dynamics Graphic Engine). we know the EDGE characteristics but not the previos engines. In the last newsletters we see NTTR has the new Theatre engine (T-4), and now ED working on new mesh engine technology (T-5). What is the previous names of previous engines and characteristics? (T-3 .... T-X) That info have very interesting to put them on the DCS: World Wiki as historic lore about DCS: W series.
tifafan
The old graphic engine is called The Fighter Collection Simulation Engine (TFCSE). Not LOMAC.

SkateZilla
The Terrain Engine is different from the GFX Engine, T3 - 1.5.x - Outside of DX11 / Support, I cant list specifics, not sure if T3 is related to DX11 or not. T4 - Introduced Format, File Structure and DRM to Handle Multiple Terrains. T5 - Dynamic Mesh Technology. As for T2 and T1, I dunno. T2 - DX9?, Improved Mesh Resolution, Noise Layer Etc T1 - DX8? Original Terrain engine in LoMAC?? http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2591937&postcount=9 TFCSE Applies to the Entire Software Library, the Sound, GFX, Physics, everything is under TFCSE. TFCSE is the Engine that drives the entire Simulation. EDGE is just the GFX Engine Tx is Just the Terrain Engine Afaik there was no public codename for the DX9 GFX engine, I could be wrong though.
