Hi All

As the title suggests the auto pilot {Bank, Pitch, Heading, Altitude}on 2.1 is not turning on with auto start or if I go through my start up check list this makes it a very bumpy ride has any one else had this issue spent 1 hour sorting out my key binds today as I am normally on 1.5 were it works fine

Thanks

Thanks for the reply I went back on earlier and the lights on the auto pilot still did not come on but it worked. Made it to the target area went in to auto hover which did not work very well and on the way back to base it all went off I do not get this on 1.5, flying on the 107th on both

I had the same problem. If you have deferred shading enabled the AP lights will be reversed. In other words when they are active the light will be out, and when they are deactivated the light will be on. Turning off deferred shading returns it to normal. Hope this helps!

Hi Mad Max

I came across your post last night and tried turning deferred shading off how ever i got slightly different results Bank, Pitch and Heading lights still did not work Altitude light was on with no power to the cockpit and the flight director worked fine some times it is also engaging auto hover on start up

Hi Everybody

Just been checking out the latest update to 2.1.1 and like yourselves noticed the problems with autopilot not working as should, ie auto hover etc, Ran 1.5.7 and 2.1.1 side by side to compare differences. After the usual ditch BS2 control folder and rebuild, no change! looked through your posts and noticed Mad Max's comments about deferred shading, thought what the hell lets try turning deferred shading off, lo and behold auto hover and turn to target etc working as should! hope this helps

Hi just a quick addition also noticed the targeting display is much clearer without deferred shading enabled.
