Default Fuel Planning Tool (FPT)

After more than a year of research, development, and internal testing, I'm happy to announce the upcoming public release of the Fuel Planning Tool:

The Fuel Planning Tool (FPT) will help you plan for fuel consumption, flight time, combat performance, and navigation data for DCS: A-10C and DCS: F-5E. It features all Nevada and Caucasus Maps navpoints for easy reference and flight plan creation.

Features:
- Custom GUI.
- Detailed user manual.
- Based on real aircraft performance charts and crosschecked to match DCS.
- Takeoff and Landing Data cards.
- Exports for flight documents in different forms.
- Google Earth Flight plan overlay creation.
Requirements:
- Keyboard and Mouse.
- MS Office Excel.

I might look into choppers if enough people want too. I started of with the airframes we use in the 476th vFG.
Currently only works for the A-10C (A-10A works too), F-5E-3, and Mig-28.

Everyone: I found a little bug that kills the tool when reseting the flight plan. Please re-download FPT v1.1a. This bug is fixed now.

Highly desirable tool for choppers. Probably a bit more complex to implement than for fixed wings if you like the challenge. Mi8 manual got tons of details on the fuel consumption, the variation depending on the equipment used on board and the external factors.

Thank you very much for the great effort Kimi. Much appreciated. Do you plan to make a feature where it's possible to import different navigation points than the ones included in the tool?

*must spread some rep around' :-(

Cheers
Hans
