But Viper needs to compress and tile the map in order to make the CombatFlite experience smooth and lag-free for all. There is another annoying thing: the "1:1" zoom doesn't seem to exist in CombatFlite. This means you either get a zoomed out view, with city names ahrd to read, or a much too zoomed in view with ugly pixels showing. I haven't discussed this with Viper39 yet. Flappie Posted June 25, 2019 Share Posted June 25, 2019 The GeoTIFF file is 26259 x 19377 pixels. The only raster layers are the relief shadows. I could try and vectorize them, but it's not mandatory: an SVG file can include a raster. The only problem with SVG is that I'm not 100% sure Inkscape can handle such a large raster... We'll see.
