rayrayblues
I am at my wits end. My rudder has a mind of its own and my planes and helo are not flyable at all.:helpsmilie: I have run a cleanup and repair to no avail. The rudder flaps back and forth and gets stuck in the full left or full right position. There is no discernible pattern to it. It seems totally random and will straighten out sometimes and fly normal then without warning it goes crazy. Attached is a 3 minute track of my P-51. Use the F2 view and watch the whole thing and you will see what it is doing. I thought it might be my stick :joystick: , but it works perfectly in Rise Of Flight and War Thunder Sim. The game is unplayable for me, please help. -0303-
I am at my wits end. My rudder has a mind of its own and my planes and helo are not flyable at all. I had this same thing in the TF-51D. It was flyable, except rudders randomly returned to center. Turned out the rudder was assigned to the Warthog throttle joystick. I was very new and hadn't yet figured out to always check all the bindings in "adjust control". grafspee
I had similar issue in p-51. I set my bindings sitting in -25, in options -25 and -30 is at the same position. But when i jumped in to -30 in some MP server my controls got ****ed up. I checked my bindings and everything was changed, it seems that while saving mission it saves all your settings, this mean that your snapshot views will be changed,it will override your controls to the default settings, etc etc. Fix is that you have to restart game and everything will go back to normal. ED should fix this issue imo. CBStu
There have been several times when my controls go FUBAR. I look through bindings and find duplicates, get rid of them and all is well. What happened I have no idea cause it all worked fine 2 days ago. But then I also have duplicates that don't cause any problems at all. IE my flaps can be controlled either by a pair of buttons on the joy stick or by a 3 position switch(?) on my Warthog throttle. Been that way since I got the throttle months ago. I thought I would be more realistic using the throttle switch til I found out that it is actually patterned after the A10 throttle. Some times this stuff is frustrating but then I think I wouldn't want to try to put out a product that works w/ as many different people, PCs, controllers, etc like ED does. I just can't imagine how many possible permutations there must be so I am glad it all works as well as it does.
