truebrit
Sorry if that makes no sense. What I want to do is build a button box with latching toggle switches (in other words they stay up or down), but only have the game register one button click. So say if I have a toggle for electrical power, it doesn't make the game think I am holding the r/cntrl L button non stop. That brings up another interesting question. Could I program a switch to be kept in the on position for electrical power or master arm, and then have it turn off when the button goes back to off? I have search many threads and posts but I may as well be reading Chinese. I hope that makes sense, I am a total noob at DCS so layman's terms please. :pilotfly: Planes: A-10C/II - FC3 - F/A-18C - F-16c - F-5 - F-15E - F-4E Helicopters: UH-1H Huey - KA-50 Black Shark - AH-64D Maps: Sinai - Normandy 2.0 - Channel - Syria - Persian Gulf - South Atlantic Extras: Supercarrier - WWII Asset Pack PC SPECS: CPU, Intel i5 4670K @ 4.2GHz | MOBO, ASUS/Z87-A | MEMORY, HyperX FURY Series 32GB (4x8GB) DDR3 Memory1833Mhz |GRAPHICS CARD, GIGABYTE RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6, 1920 Core, 1755Mhz | PSU, CoolerMaster Real Power Pro 1250W 80Plus | Flight Stick, Logitech X-56 | Rudder Pedals, Logitech G | O/S, Windows 10, 64bit | Hard Drives, Samsung SSD 860 QVO 1TB
Sokol1_br
For the first question look at the lynx Cub firmware (topic there), for send only a momentary signal when switch is turned ON and OFF.
gcompc
Button Box I built a button box that has around 32 switches and buttons consisting of single post single throw as well as single post double throw toggle switches. Some stay latched and some return to center, on- off-on type. The easiest way to make these work is with the BUO836X it's treated as another key board and some software called SVA Mapper (google it)which allows you to program the switches to give the result you want. It will give a latch switch a single pulse, repeat pulsing or whatever. It makes it very flexible without having to program lua files. I used some rotary pulse encoders to make knobs that rotate which I use for HUD brightness and weapons release interval and quantity for the Su-25T. Works great. :) System: Asrock Extreme 4 MB l i7 7700K OC 5.0GHZ l EVGA GTX 1080ti l 32 GB Crucial DDR4 l Rift S l CH Fighter Stick l CH Pro throttle l CH Rudder Pedals l Modded Suncom SFS Throttle and Talon Stick l Toshiba 1TB HD l Crucial 1TB SSD
truebrit
I have the BBI-32 from LB, hopefully that will do the job, it's been in a draw for years. Now I've finished making lots of stuff for my racing sims it's time to get in to the aircraft stuff. That SV mapper sounds just what I need, thanks. huzar
That brings up another interesting question. Could I program a switch to be kept in the on position for electrical power or master arm, and then have it turn off when the button goes back to off? I have search many threads and posts but I may as well be reading Chinese. You can do this using mmjoy2, it's possible to configure the toggle switch to simulate a single button press while switching to ON position and second button press while switching it OFF. Then in DCS settings setup first button for electrical power ON and second for OFF.
