Yesterday on 9th of May Russia celebrated victory over Nazis in WWII, first military parade on Red square since collapse of Soviet Union:

Showing off it's power and might was a trademark of communist states and wasn't very welcome in post Soviet Russia but like freshly inaugurated president Dmitry Medvedev said Russian military and navy keep geting stronger lately!
