NTTR Ground Clutter/Procedural Gen

I was just wondering if ED plans on adding any kind of ground clutter (rocks, grass, bushes) with procedural generation not unlike the grass with the new Caucasus map.

 

I thought I remember seeing a vast amount of rocks and boulders in one of Waggs' early videos, but I could be wrong, or it could have been dropped due to performance reasons.
