Default Tropico skin pack (fictional)

Hello everyone.

I don't know how many of you know about "Tropico" or are interested in fictional skin but, after a long time just downloading, I wanted to try to create some personalized skins myself. Hence, I decided to start from something which was not done before, a hypotetical representation of the air force of the (fictional) Republic of Tropico, from the game series bearing the same name (more info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropico ). After all, in Tropico 5 they introduced military airplanes, one much resembling a MiG-21 (and taking off from a carrier!?!).

Roundel and flag (NB the flag is the official in-game flag, while the roundel is my own creation)

**DOWNLOAD LINKS PROVIDED BELOW**

I am not a very talented painter, but I came out with some basic skins representing the fictional country of Tropico. I started easy with the beautiful (and much lore-friendly imho) L39, good for a small air force mostly needing training/recon and light CAS.

Both the livery and roundels are inspired from Cuban ones. I would also love to create a proper MiG-21 skin, but unfortunately we'll have to wait for the updated templates/3D model.

Finally, here is a complete family pic (WIP). Since in the (Tropico) city-builder game you can play either as a Soviet or Western oriented country, as well as a neutral one, I tried to include some models representing both the first and latter option (sorry, I was a bit biased here).

Unfortunately most of the liveries are just modification of existing skins, so in most cases I won't be able to release them without permission/credit.

Default Tropico Mig-29 low-vis

First update: I created two low-visibility liveries for the Mig-29A.

Download link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.c...files/3301092/ NB Initial release, further adjustment possible. For instance, I think the roundels/flag are still too dark compared to the skin for a real low-vis effect.

Next on the line is Mig-29A camo version (based on Cuban camo)

Great stuff, looking forward to more!

You spoke earlier of modifying existing skins, correct me if I'm wrong but I believed that modifications of stock DCS skins were fair game to release? Obviously with another user's skin you would need explicit permission.

If that's correct, then MiG-21 bis is ready for release It's a modification of the included Cuban livery
