Ebs
OK Dozer, I'm more than willing to help anyone who asks. Which step did you get upto in my guide? You created the _MODS folder in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\ right? and setup JSGME? Check out my guide to JSGME for DCS World. Dozer1606688093
Correct! From there i´m stuck. [sIGPIC]http://imageshack.com/a/img202/730/vguserbarmask.gif[/sIGPIC]
Ebs
Right, I'm guessing you only have BS2 installed in world? I believe the female mod was made with A10c in mind. But I've changed the file structure in the mod and it SHOULD work now. I've attached a zip. unzip it to your _MODS folder...run JSGME. Enable it. And go fly a mission...Let me know if it works... That worked just perfect! Thanks. I do have a lot of mods that i would like to use, but i´m not sure how to enable them using JSGME, even though i follow your guide. Like this for example [ATTACH]74905[/ATTACH] How would i add this mod? Ebs
That particular mod is a great example of how many current mods are ready to go with JSGME. go into your _MODS folder. make a new folder called (e.g.) "DIVEPLANE NVG MOD" and extract the zip into that folder....enable and away you go... It's that easy! Take a look in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\ you'll see a "BAZAR" folder. Take a look in Diveplanes zip...also a BAZAR folder. When you create a folder in _MODS that folder becomes your virtual DCS World folder...know what I mean?. It's just all about the file structure. 3 Check out my guide to JSGME for DCS World. CHSubZero
Hi Ebs I've read your tutorial and am now ready to install a few mods. BTW thanks for this tutorial. Now it will be much easier for me to organize my mods with the autoupdate. Just one question: I've made a mod that changes the skin of the old ugly green An-2 to a newer one. For doing this I must change a file in LandTextures.zip (path DCS World\Bazar\Terrain\vfstextures). Is it possible with JSGME to add one image to this ZIP file or should I create an enhanced ZIP file in my Mod folder? Thanks for the help. Ebs
Hey CHSubZero, JSGME isn't able to 'inject' single files into zips, which is a shame! The only way would be to create the enhanced zip. Check out my guide to JSGME for DCS World.
CHSubZero
Okay. Then I'll try it this way. Thanks  My Mods: DCS User Files Modules owned: EVERY Module :pilotfly:
Humvee28
I´m using JSGME for DCS World from now on too. I´m knowing this Tool from SH3, and it´s really nice to handle Mods for DCS the same Way. Thanks for the nice Tut. Very appreciated. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] My System-Specs @ SysProfile Real Pilots need "No Mark". :D
Blaze
Works great, thanks! Used to use this in IL-2, now as a developer it's much easier for me to enable/disable mods in DCS for testing and updating. :) I've made a mod that changes the skin of the old ugly green An-2 to a newer one. Now that would be something I'm interested in, any screenies? :) Edited December 30, 2012 by Blaze i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Humvee28
this needs to be a sticky.. and on aside note if you have already made a JSGME mod can you make it available on files? so it will save some poor sole some time in making one? I found this a good Idea, so i want to share my JSGME Mod Package too. It´s an self-extracting Archive, so you only need to klick on it and put the Path to your DCS World Installation into the Window. I´m not the Creator of any Mod contained in this Package, i only compiled them for use with JSGME. TurboHog
BS2 -- JTAC & AWACS -- by TurboHog -- http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php? Good idea for newcomers! Just note that V1.3 of my mod will already be in copy-paste style for JSGME. Now if ED releases V1.2.3 I can finally release my new version too. ;) (So you will have to update that download very soon or remove my mod from the package) 'Frett'

CHSubZero
Yes, very nice  so will you release this AN-2 skin ? The problem with the AN-2 is, that you have to put the new skin into the right ZIP file. TempTextures is not working  You can download the skin here: http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/122335/ You just have to copy the new skin into the existing ZIP file "DCS World\Bazar\Terrain\vfstextures\LandTextures.zip" My Mods: DCS User Files Modules owned: EVERY Module :pilotfly:

Blaze
Yeah, .bmp.dds doesn't work 99% of the time in TempTextures. Dropping part of it and just leaving it .dds will fix it. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement.
