Magnetic Deviation on Normandy map

This is one of those things that I go, "Oh! I know it! It's on the tip of my tongue! It's umm...uh..."

While I can't seem to quite remember, what you can do to find out is set up your plane in level flight, and use the info bar in the external F2 camera to find your heading. Then from inside your cockpit, compare it to your magnetic compass, not gyro. Whatever the difference is, that might be it? I'm unsure, but try it in the meantime.
