ED Team BIGNEWY Posted February 19, 2020 ED Team Share Posted February 19, 2020 I have the exactly same problem in 2.5.6 too. Objects appear only in very close distance, and its almost impossible to gun run (you dont have time to prevent hiting of the ground). I set graphic settigns to the maximum visible range, and its still the same. We have an LOD issue which has already been fixed internally and will be in the next patch. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Infiltrator
It's the nature of the beast that updates will often break things and require patching. But more importantly it's two steps forward and only temporary one step back. DCS World is looking more and more beautiful and realistic. To achieve this level of realism and immersion code will of course become more complex - thus more suceptable to generate errors. The devs are pushing the envelope with the development of DCS World and it's evident from their outstanding work that their more passionate than anyone about bringing DCS World to simulate the real world. unknown
Are you a forum moderator??? He doesn't need to be. You could at least have read the posts from TODAY to find your answer. @BIGNEWY I have a suggestion, count how many times there was a question like "Patch today/this week" after the last patch release and multiply it by one week -> thats your new release date for the next patch and that gives you plenty of time for building/testing the next patch :smilewink: Keep up your good work  Modules: KA-50, A-10C, FC3, UH-1H, MI-8MTV2, CA, MIG-21bis, FW-190D9, Bf-109K4, F-86F, MIG-15bis, M-2000C, SA342 Gazelle, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A-18C, F-14, C-101, FW-190A8, F-16C, F-5E, JF-17, SC, Mi-24P Hind, AH-64D Apache, Mirage F1, F-4E Phantom II System: Win 11 Pro 64bit, Ryzen 3800X, 32gb RAM DDR4-3200, PowerColor Radeon RX 6900XT Red Devil ,1 x Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe, 2 x Samsung SSD 2TB + 1TB SATA, MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals - VIRPIL T-50CM and VIRPIL MongoosT-50 Throttle - HP Reverg G2, using only the latest Open Beta, DCS settings
