AIM-7 behaviour

I must say the AIM-7 seems much more useful now (I particularly like the Cold War scenarios taking Fox 1’s over Fox 3’s for a bit of a challenge) and now I find the Sparrow substantially more useful. I can send a first missile at range in loft (which seems to arrive with some reasonable kinetic energy) crank and then fire my second and subsequent shots closer in normal where they clean up.

Makes them more useful up closer similar to the 530D.

Yeah the normal behavior is really important for improving combat outcomes.

There is still a weird graphical delay/lag after pressing the "NORM" flight profile that isn't present when selecting other options on other missiles. Not a big deal as long as it works.

There are subsequent AIM-7 shots after the second one? I mean, if you don't want to fly an A-10 with afterburner capability sans the gun... rdlaugh.png

I always used them since the Hornet is here and never thought they're that bad. But I always opted for late shots at ~6nm range, though I had some good ones already at 10+ as well and even one or two above 20nm that I thought would never hit.
