EcceHomo
The HSI chart has three displays. Controlled Image Base (CIB) can display ground friendly, threat targets, threat distances, and other radar and threat symbols (EWP on the AV-8B, see below). F-18C: 1. Chart (CHRT) mode provides a plan-view color map derived from Compressed ARC Digitized Raster Graphics (CADRG). This chart product replaces the Compressed Aeronautical Chart (CAC) map data currently used in the existing map (AN/ASQ-196 ). 2. Digital Terrain Elevation Data (DTED) mode provides a plan-view, panchromatic (gray scale), Terrain plot with slope shading. 3. Controlled Image Base (CIB) mode provides a plan-view panchromatic image derived from a variety of mission planning, command, control, communications, and intelligence systems. So can the DCS F-18C use these three maps? If this is a secret, can you make a similar page and put it in the ED way to the F-18C. The A-10C TDH threat display has been removed. I don't want this situation to appear again in the F-18C.
