Problem: The Al Minhad TACAN (99X MIN) appears to follow the FA-18C around the field. Approaching from the East toward RWY 27, all appears to be fine. But when returning from Tunb Island, the HSI shows the TACAN to be out in the Gulf! As you approach the field, the TACAN slowly moves back to where it should be. This occurs both in big multiplayer scenarios and in single player. The attached track is a single player, single aircraft test mission. Tholozor Posted January 12, 2020 Share Posted January 12, 2020 (edited) I think it has something to do with the Al Udeid VORTAC in Qatar, it's also on 99X, look out west and you'll see it. Al Minhad should be a VOR/DME instead of a TACAN if you went by real world charts (Al Minhad's VOR/DME is on the same paired frequency as Al Udeid's VORTAC, 115.20MHz).
