What do you mean by F15E layer model in the DCS menu?

I think he means template for F-15E in downloads section of the website.

Well, if it’s any use to anyone with RAZBAM, I spent over 17 years on the E model as a maintenance puke. If there are any technical questions on the system ops side of the house, shoot me PMs and I’ll answer what I can. I’m pretty fluent with the majority of it, and most of the stuff that’s changed over the last 10 years, I wasn’t that fluent to begin with anyway. :)

Based on an empty weight of 31,700lbs.

If you figure 10,000lbs fuel and another 1,000lbs for 2 AIM-9's.

and then divide 47,540lbs of thrust by 42,700lbs of AC weight.

I'm coagulating that the F-15E has a thrust to weight ratio of 1.11 in an ACM configuration using full afterburner from the F100-PW-220's

These were all numbers from wikipeida's Strike Eagle page so maybe someone else can find better numbers.

I may have to buy the Strike Eagle because of its stellar TWR and the fact that it's a full fidelity F15 with F15 dogfighting potential.

I think the Hornet is best at BFM with at about 6500lbs of fuel or less that puts the TWR for the Hornet at 1.14 based on 35,500lbs of thrust with ab divided by 30,500lbs AC weight figuring 6,500lbs of fuel and 1500lbs for gun ammo and 2 AIM-9's.

The F-15E can maintain a pretty stellar TWR and still carry almost double the fuel of the Hornet.

Can the interesting modules be done by someone else ?

Why? Razbam has done really well with the Mirage and the Harrier. One of the best 3rd party teams.

I am really excited with this project, I have the Metal2Mesh enhanced avioncs package for the Iris F-15E and this is an aircraft I am really interested in.

However and most important this is a multicrew aircraft, many of the relevant attack functions should be done from the rear cockpit and the systems are quite complex, So if Razmbam can make this one properly, this would be surely something more than just another module.

I will surely buy this one.

Can Razbam share some of their plans about how the concept of multicrew would be implemented? Would the aircraft be necesarily flown by two people or an IA „copilot“ could be enebled?

I would love to hear a bit more about this long awaited module. How the avionics and rear seat will be handled? I love the roadmap, but the 15e is the one I've been waiting for - right up there with the 18c.
