Don't unzip the tex folder(s)

Dont unzip - copy that!

But what about the correct way to install - cannot change liveries in the missions editor.. so there is still something wrong about my procedure..

Where must the liveries folders be placed? :joystick:

Depends what country you make it.

 

The current liveries are Royal Navy and Indian Navy. I will unlock them in the next update.

 

Unzip in the saved games folder in the folder structure.

 

liveries

...\Saved Games\DCS Version\Liveries

main

..\Saved Games\DCS Version\Mods\tech

EDIT: I did it like told - works perfect (with OvGME too)! Just to notice: in my case I had to create the "Liveries" folder under my "Saved Games..."

Bungo, the ARA 25 de Mayo as well as the ARA Independencia were bothe Colosus Class.

 

- 25 de Mayo was the HMS Venerable (R26) Later HNLMS Karel Doorman (R81) and finaly ARA 25 de Mayo.

 

- ARA Independencia was the HMS Warrior.

 

Never the less of course we can disguise the Hermes as a Colossus.. ;)

 

We just need some arresting wires, since the A-4 has its own "catapult" included ;)

Hey Jody, I seem to be exploding as a barrier now on deck of the Hermes, after the last pathc?

For those that don't know I put the description lua in the Mods\tech\HermesR12\Textures.

 

I thought I'll see if I can add proper spawn points

That's strange cos it should say

which version do you have?

 

I'll do a test build today and upload here in the thread but the spawning for players is borked since the patch.

 

I've found out how to spawn more harriers but they all spawn facing the front.

Right. Spawn locations down for the harrier.. all 12 of them

Until the harrier spawning is fixed here's the AI A-4s for reference and yes they are AI, watching them take off up the ramp is funny.

I had to disable the helichopper spawn locations for now.

 

after some testing and not being able to place which spot I want them to spawn in I will reduce the runways from 2 to 1.

Thought i'd recreate an iconinc Hermes photo as i love this module so much !

 

Sadly we don't have Sea Kings to place but i think it is very very close :)

What's the size difference between the FRS1 and the AV8B-N/A

 

The Av88 has a 2m25 wider wingspan , so the deck's width would have to be widened relative to that. They are both the same length so longwise its ok.

So i think appr up to 5m extra width to the deck , 2.5m each side of the deck to offsett the island proportionatly would fit the av88s in the manner the hermes fitted the sea harriers in reality.
