D4n
For some reason, there always is a "PILOT_1941525" (random number here as example) in the score chart. It's not an actual player (it's the server maybe?) and it's confusing. DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013 DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do. Mustang
It is the callsign of the server host as you say, it's down to the owner to adjust this on every server session launch.
D4n
Well, wasn't like that on DCS 2.5.5 iirc.... ? Mustang
In 2.5.5 the host was called 'player' and you still had to make an edit to adjust the name, but it was more tricky since you had to edit a .cfg file to do this, in 2.5.6 you can just type the name in a box quite easily. Also to add this is a dedicated server thing only, the older DCS hosting method never had this problem.
D4n
Strange then that ED renamed it from "player" into sth. uppercase llike "PILOT_911911" DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013 DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do.
