Cherokee W203
i just did the mission yesterday, and everything was alright. i assume that you got the latest version of DCS world ? Did you loaded more armament and fuel ? if not, put your governor on emergency and press the GOV up button on your collective, maybe this works for you. oh and check with R CTRL (or was it R Shift?) plus enter if the game recognizes your Collective. MatyDry
Thank you for your help. Today I did it. Mistake was probably somewhere between chair and joystick. Edited March 30, 2014 by MatyDry
MatyDry
It wasn't my mistake, today I had the same problem again. After landing I wasn't able to takeoff. I have G940.

ratkandy
How long are you supposed to stay at the LZ "unloading cargo" in mission 2? I gave up waiting for something to happen after a few minutes, flew back to base, and had 50 for mission results.
JPS2K
How long are you supposed to stay at the LZ "unloading cargo" in mission 2? I gave up waiting for something to happen after a few minutes, flew back to base, and had 50 for mission results. Was there ever an answer for this ? Because after a week of trying to land and finally making it, I was told to sit and wait.... I waited, I smoked (for real), waited some more, brushed my teeth (for real).... And then decided to fly back... :joystick:

Guessing there is an issue at the moment.
Ramsay
I'm not sure how well Mission 2 is working in 1.5.7 but IIRC as well as being in the LZ, the trigger checks your height, descent rate and requires the collective to be at zero (a check to make sure you've 'really' touched down and not just bounced). Flying the mission I've had to re-position a couple of times, as I've just been outside of the trigger zone (~150 ft of the solider by the river). IIRC last time I flew it, was in 1.5.3. When it's working - the side doors open and a squad comes to unload the helicopter, they need to get within 100 ft (30m) of the player to trigger the next action Tested in 1.5.7, working fine, when you land in the right place :) IIRC, if you land too far away and the soldiers don't come close enough but instead return to the check point - you can follow them back to the check point and try to get them to unload you there :P Edited August 21, 2017 by Ramsay Tested UN mission 2 in 1.5.7 i9 9900K @4.7GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 10 Pro x64, 1920X1080
Hatefury
Just re flew the mission in the new patch. Put it same as last time the soldiers actually came to the chopper and the mission continued. Whatever was causing it before has been rectified (I concede this could have possibly been my flying).
