Eight Ball
I'm thinking I'll be able to do this tonight, but one thing that would help (if someone beats me to it) is having a list of airfield names as they're registered / entered in the ME scripts. To do this a person just needs to place a plane at every airfield and then open the .miz file to see how the airfield is entered in the documentation. Are you talking about airfield ID ? If yes : Creech = 1 Groom = 2 McCarren = 3 Nellis = 4 Find The Links To All My Mods And Liveries Here (in the gallery)

wolle
Helicopter War, Nevada edition EDIT: The mission has now been published in the user files section of the DCS webpag: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1584945/ This is my first attempt to transcribe "The Helicopter War" mission to Nevada. Have not yet carefully playtested it, bug reports welcome, will update regularly. One thing I've noticed is that radio beacon homing in the UH-1 does not work. Not sure if this is a script problem, or if it has not yet been implemented in Nevada. ENO
Are you talking about airfield ID ? If yes : Yes I'm quite certain that's exactly what I was looking for. (that sounded weird... but let's say that's how I roll.) Now, the trick is going to be to dissect that script that SNAFU made and see where I can plunk in those numbers... then hope for the best! If I find the same airfield data for the Caucasus region in his script THEN I'll know if it was what I was looking for. :pilotfly: "ENO" Type in anger and you will make the greatest post you will ever regret. Eight Ball
Looks like Grimes list wasn't accurate : Let me correct Grimes' list. The correct list (if you don't use the correct spelling, DCS 2 will crash) is HS_airfields = { [1] = {name = 'Creech', id = 1}, [2] = {name = 'Groom Lake', id = 2}, [3] = {name = 'McCarren International Airport', id = 3}, [4] = {name = 'Nellis AFB', id = 4} } http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2584862#post2584862 Good luck  Find The Links To All My Mods And Liveries Here (in the gallery)

Blooze
Click on the airplane and be sure that either player or client has be designated for that plane. If it already has been selected as such then be sure the clock starting time for the plane is the same as the start time for the mission. Go to Program Files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World OpenBeta or OpenAlpha/Doc and get the user manual. It will give very specific instructions. Blooze
This occurs when the object pack is not properly installed. Ensure it is installed. I am familiar with JSGME and have checked and double checked and can't get the object pack to install. With all due respect to you Ranger I am hoping someone can offer a quality mission without the need to install mods to run it and I feel sure that there are probably many others that feel the same. Johnny Dioxin
First off - thanks for the missions, chaps! Secondly - I'm a bit surprised to read of AI taxiing problems, as mine have so far been faultless (I even cheated and used some screenshots of the AI for my website :music_whistling:). Hope to do some more interesting missions after I've tested all the modules. I'll definitely do some training missions similar to my old FC ground attack sorties. Scripting gives me a headache, so they will never be that 'involved' Kneeboard Guides Rig: Asus B650-GAMING PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS; SN-1 Pedals; VR = Pico 4 over VD Wireless + Index; Point Control v2

Johnny Dioxin
jcbak, I hope you don't mind, but I tweaked your template a little to add some air and a little tiny bit of ground traffic and I also changed the static F-15's skins to the Nellis one. ;) I changed the time of day to morning and made the month September and added some clouds for a little atmosphere. Here it is in case anyone wants it. I may upload a modified one later on when I have more time to embellish it a little. Just be aware that if you use this mission as a base for testing the Russian aircraft - as soon as you spawn you will be shot at! Actually, it's quite fun to watch! :D Edited December 6, 2015 by Brixmis Kneeboard Guides Rig: Asus B650-GAMING PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS; SN-1 Pedals; VR = Pico 4 over VD Wireless + Index; Point Control v2

Blooze, just to validate you have done the following for JSME - create a new mods folder in the DCS WORD 2 OPENALPHA. place the RangerPack in the mods folder. here is the important part:(everyone misses). Create new shortcut to the JSME EXECUTABLE, Right click on the shortcut TARGET = <location of JSME.exe>, START IN: <Path to the DCS World 2 OPENALPHA folder>. you should have a mods folder in the OPENALPHA folder and a JSME.ini INI should look like this [MODS FOLDER] Name=_JSGMEMODS [JSGME DETAILS] FullPath=C:\Downloads\DCS\JSGME\JSGME.exe [FORM SIZE] Main Height=528 Main Left=699 Main Top=403 Main Width=676 Main WindowState=0 Name = should be your mods folder in The ALPHA Version folder. Let me know if I can be of any assistance for you. thanks 76th Falcon MSI Creator X299 - INTEL i9 - 10900X 3.7 GHZ - 32 GB Corsair Dominator DDR4 - EVGA GTX 1080 FTW AC2
Blooze
Thanks Falcon but I am quite familiar with JSGME and had checked to be sure the path and installation procedure was correct. I may have missed something but although there are aspects of this sim that I can justify spending my time troubleshooting, installing a mod to fly one mission is not one of them. There are many that stay away from mods for good reason and it's been difficult enough to find A-10C pilots to join MP coop missions lately, and near impossible when a mod is required to join. Skynet99
Hey, I have a multiplayer mission I created, it's kinda rough around the edges still, feel free to contact me with advice/criticism/ideas/fixes/feedback you might find useful. I don't know what happened to my file, but now I have uploaded the corrected file! Red team: CAP: Defend Groom Lake airbase. Achieve air superiority. Ground Attack: Destroy their Patriot site so our ground troops can move in on Creech. Call them via radio when the Patriot site is destroyed. Should the attack on the Patriot site be unsuccessful via air, the two artillery groups will fire on them once in position (and still alive). They will arrive in their firing position at 1800 local. Be aware! US armed patrol is in the area 64A-64B-64C, destroy it before mounting an attack on Creech! Victory for Red: 1. Destroy US armored patrol. 2. Destroy Patriot site at Creech, then escort Convoy and ensure they get inside Creech. At least one unit must survive from the ground troops that were called in. Blue Task CAP: Follow FP, provide CAP for A2G and eliminate anything that would threaten the success of the A2G package. Ground attack: Kill artillery convoy 1 and 2 enroute from Groom lake airbase. Destruction of the HVTs (4 vehicles among the troops at WP6) Jaguar JTAC is unlocked for further assistance. SEAD: Suppress enemy Air defenses at Groom lake. KA-50: Destroy all targets at WP 5-6-7, then assist CAS. Victory for Blue: 1. Kill both Artillery groups around Groom lake. 2. Destroy the SA-10 Site at Area 51. 3. (Optional) Destroy HVTs west of Laplace to unlock JTAC Jaguar AWACS are available for both sides (call via F10) one-time use until they run out of fuel. JTAC for US side (to find arty convoys) Jaguar (Predator) will spawn if the HVT group is destroyed and more than 15 minutes of mission time has passed. Flyable aircrafts: F15C, F86F, A-10C, Su25t, L39C, KA-50, Mig29s, Mig21, Mirage, Su-27 ArclightArea 51_v3.miz Edited December 9, 2015 by Skynet99 Typo, removed double phrasing
Andrei
Hi. Given that Nevada map is so new and there's not much content I though I could share my sandbox for NTTR. The goal of the sandbox is to provide you with means to practice anything you want without making a new mission all the times, as well as bring a little bit more life to the map. This sandbox simulates good relationship between Russia and NATO, so you get RuAF aircraft in Nellis :) It's still very much WIP so I may be updating it as the time goes. UPD 1 - Fixed bug w/ disappearing F10 menu (hopefully) - Added some soft targets to the armor target range - Added spawnable in the air 4-pack or F-4 "drones" UPD 2 - Aggressor F-5 flight reduced to two ship - Long range SAMs will now be OFF at mission start (no radar) - Added village for "MOUT" like operations - Small fixes Now here are some details. Aircraft distribution - Nellis AFB with "Static" and Client aircraft. You can select A-10C, F-15, Su-27, Su-25T and MiG-21. Feel free to add what you want - Las Vegas International is home to Civil Huey, Mi-8 and L-39C. - Creech AFB (even though it's not too realistic) is the base for the oldies: WW2 and Korean era aircraft can be found there. A few UAVs for the look&feel. - Groom lake is the base for "Red Force" this is where USAF aggressors will take off. - Additionally there are two FARPs for the helicopters (one with NATO and one with Eastern supporting equipment). They are located in the sourthern part of Kawich Valley nearby the training range. Support assets: - AWACS in the eastern part of the range - Tanker in the eastern part of the range. The tanker can be contacted via F10 radio menu to switch from High&Fast to Low&Slow orbit. For F-15 / A-10 respectively. OPFORCE Fighters: Call them with F10 menu. After takeoff, the will go to their patrol areas, located somewhere in zone R-4807A. Please note: each flight can be called ONLY ONCE! Skill level is "Excellent" - F-4 "drones": 4x F-4 with non-aggressive AI. Just flying the orbit and nothing can worry them. They spawn immediately upon selection nearby "Short range SAM" site and orbit leg is until approximately "Structures and convoy" site. - F-5 flight: 2x F-5 armed with classic Sidewinders. Take off from Groom. - F-15 flight: 2x F-15 armed to the teeth. Takeoff from Groom. - Su-27 flight: 2x Su-27 armed to the teeth. Takeoff from Groom. Note that for aircraft starting from Groom, it may take up to 15 minutes to reach their patrol areas after being activated. SAM: Long range SAMs Located on the highland of the Dead Horse flat, to the west of Groom Lake. Location makes it perfect to practice approaches using terrain masking. Get too high and you're dead. There are SA-10, SA-11, Partiot and Hawk sites. Each of them has to be activated separately from F10 menu. They will paint you, but make no action until activated. Short range SAMs Located in training area neartwo "fake" airports in square 73. You get Shilka, Vulcan, Linebacker, Sterla, Osa and Tor. They as well should be activated using F10 menu. Ground Targets: - There are some static structures in the training area in Kawich Valley. Ammo deport, Tank and Command center to drop your GBUs at. - Around the same training area there are two large convoys of tanks, IFVs, APCs and some AD assets. One convoy is "typical" US and another one is Russian. They come inactive at mission start. Use F10 menu to activate. Watch for air defenses! - Another training range has your typical MBT, IFV, APC and truck targets as well. - Village around 4807A to practice your precision strikes. Contains a few enemy troops and vehicles (non-lethal). KNOWN ISSUES: Radio menu items will not disappear after being used. Any other feedback is welcome. Hope you enjoy this.Sandbox v5.miz Edited December 23, 2015 by Andrei Updated 2 AMD R7 5800X3D | Aorus B550 Pro | 32GB DDR4-3600 | RTX 4080 | VKB MGC Pro Gunfighter Mk III + Thustmaster TWCS + VKB T-Rudder Mk4 | HP Reverb G2 FC3 | A-10C II | Ка-50 | P-51 | UH-1 | Ми-8 | F-86F | МиГ-21 | FW-190 | МиГ-15 | Л-39 | Bf 109 | M-2000C | F-5 | Spitfire | AJS-37 | AV-8B | F/A-18C | Як-52 | F-14 | F-16 | Ми-24 | AH-64 NTTR | Normandy | Gulf | Syria | Supercarrier |
