RePhil
I am the first to admit that I am as dumb as a rock when it comes to computers and the like but, that being said. I see a number of mods and the like that say they are JSGME ready or use JSGME. What is JSGME and how does it work [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Window 10, i9-9900,2080TI, 32GB ram Puma Pro Flight Trainer, 2 x 1TB WB SSD NVMe HP Reverb
cichlidfan
It is a program to assist with installing/uninstalling mods (for any game). It is a bit dated now but it still works well. If you have never used it then I would recommend OVGME which you can read about here. As for how it works... Basically, it installs the mods for you, while backing up the original files. This means that uninstalling a mod will also restore the files that it replaced. OVGME is a much improved version of the same tool. It allows you to store all of your mods in a single location anywhere on your drive(s) as well as handling multiple games with a single instance of the program. Art-J
What Cichlidfan said. I switched not long ago from three JSGMEs (one per each DCS install) into one OVGME wthout issues. Saved a bunch of precious space on my SSD by doing so, not to mention the ease of managing mods in all three installs from one, simple interface. A very useful little piece of software. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

cichlidfan
I see your point but since I am not in the habit of moving installed games it doesn't matter much. There is certainly nothing wrong with JSGME. It has served me well for many years.
