Though my main controller is the Hotas Warthog (I put an entry on the poll), I once played with an Xbox Controller for testing the Oculus Rift and I was able to land, and I don't know if that count as a controller, but I bought a glove and a Arduino nano plus a gyroscope (MPU-9250) to use them as a cheap VR glove/air mouse for DCS on VR and once I got it done it will be for sure my main mouse for DCS.

I know it's far from the best controller, but a lot of peeps have Xbox controllers. Having the basic flight controls and a trigger mapped by default correctly would allow many people to have a positive experience from the get go.

Since DCS is free it seems like a good idea to win many potential customers over. Especially the VR users, who likely received a control pad with their headset, and want to try DCS simply for the purposes of using VR.

Wow, a fair amount of Virpil and VKB there. Didn't expect that.

I'm poor. RealFlight Interlink Elite radio plane controller. Hard to use, but it's got two joysticks, and three switches I use for fire buttons. :p

I DREAM of getting a Virpil. Though VKB is also nice.

TM Cougar stick (modded base gimbal) with TM Warthog Throttle, but also have the Logitech G940 for FFB and Saitek X65 (both not on the list).
