Hmm...Maybe its just me but It does not look too cartoonish to me but kinda the opposite I find it the most realistic looking map .

Maybe its a screen or its settings.

I am playing on a big screen "high end"(used to be in 2011 lol) plasma TV and the colors are almost feels the same I can see in real life flying above a lush forest and green fields.

My nephew has a 120HZ expensive (recent tech) led gaming screen and its colortones just looks aweful to me compared to this TV . So who knows .

As a VR user love the map, no shortage of things to do, but yes trees are the worst thing about the map. I think, they have improved (Did I imagine that?) but they are still too bright and they flicker around all over the place making me very glad when I get high enough to no longer see them, after which the map is gorgeous!

So go get a forest simulator instead if this is so important to you.

It is fortunate that ED has people like you who think everything is OK
If you are so fond of that call of reality, please let me know on PM so I can record video or images of how trees look from the airplane in the air.
... I already bought all the modules and all the terrains I still expected a little bit more ... that the trees look like it was shown on the commercial video. https://youtu.be/ZzVW9315ur0

After all, why the debate?
Relax
it's OK for you
Enjoy

My trees look just like the ones in the video, are you sure your upgrade to 2.5 went ok?

Maybe you should try deleting the FXO and Metashader folders and running a repair.

Well quite the contrary, old chap, if truth is to be telt. Which is exactly why I do actually find it a bit daft for someone to complain about mere trees when there're all kinds of things of real importance still broken...
