USB Port Expansion

a AC powered one, preferably USB3.

 

dont get a non-powered hub and dont get the cheapest you find.

For joystick stuff, or DSD/Bodnar boards of the world, USB2 works just fine. So if this is just for flight sim peripheral, any powered USB with good reviews will work.

 

I have this one mostly because it has separate power switches.

I went with the 3.0 version, because I need to move cad files from my home computer to my work computer.

I know you bought one already, but another option is to buy a pcie usb expansion card. They're dirty cheap, like 10-20 EUR/USD and provides 4 ports with molex/sata power. Added benefit is that you can toss a hub on those 4 ports as well ;)
