Is AWLS Accurate??

I have just finished watching Redkite's awesome tutorial on the Harrier navigation and AWLS :

and I have a question about the Localizer part of the AWLS. It seems to be working backwards. If it is off to the left, you must fly right until it comes to the center then come back to the runway heading. This is exactly opposite of how a VOR or a regular ILS functions. I find it odd that the Marines would choose to have such a vital component of an instrument landing system work backwards from all of the other navigation instruments that their aviators have learned to use throughout their career. Is this in fact how it really works??!!

The LOC course sensing is reversed I posted pics in the bug report forum on day one of release

[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]1000 miles of road will take you around town, a 1000 feet of runway can take you around the world...unless your in a Huey, you can go anywhere with no runway in a Huey!

multiplayer name ''DustOff=3=6''
