Force_Feedback
The F-14 is such a beautiful beast, it just radiates raw power, in such a way no other plane can. Damn, I really regret I've never seen it in 'real life'. I did see Hogs outside an airshow, flying over the city quite low (200m). I was all drowzy and barely able to concentrate on the road, and then I heard a destinct sound, I thought: great, you're getting mad from too much lomac. Then I looked overhead and saw a pair of A-10s flying overhead, and I couldn't be happier. The Hog made my day, hell, week back then. I may be whining for Soviet aircraft, but they just hold a big mystery value, the A-10, Tornado, F-14 and B-1 are just awesome. Hellcat61
I was fortunate enough to go to the Tomcat Sunset last friday. It was great to see that bird one last time. Its a real shame, and all of the pilots and RIO's that I talked to hated to see it go, and had nothing but praise for the jet. Tomcats Forever! Hellcat61
Corsair, you know Dave? Just out of curiosity, did you make it to the final flight? A lot of people were disappointed...
