imacken Posted September 25, 2018 Share Posted September 25, 2018 I am trying to create an offset waypoint to bullseye (Batumi) in one of the excellent Maple Leaf BFT missions. I have looked at YT videos, and a useful tutorial here, but still, my created way point shows as Batumi, despite the fact I am trying to get a '30 for 33 miles' offset. I go to the Offset CDU page, change the position to Bullseye, enter 030033 and that shows up correctly. Then, I create new WP, go to the WP page, name it but on the TAD, it just shows as being on top of Batumi, not 33 miles offset at 30 degrees! What could I be doing wrong here? Puma Posted September 26, 2018 Share Posted September 26, 2018 Are you 100% sure the bullseye at batumi? As I recall in those missions bullseye is up the coast. Thus 030 for 33 may be back to batumi. If you want to find the point 030 for 33 FROM Batumi the. You should be setting Batumi’s waypoint as the offset origin. I’m definitely doing something wrong. I really learned a lot of stuff I’d forgotten - or didn’t know - about the A-10C. It is such a great module even after all these years!
