I run a 4K monitor on that as well and can keep 60fps even over Las Vegas. All max settings and 2x MSAA

What happens in a mission, with other aircraft and ground vehicles? What is your FPS sitting on the ramp or carrier deck with several aircraft nearby? Unless the 2080 Ti is significantly more powerful than the 1080 Ti, I don't think you could maintain 60 FPS in all situations with high graphic settings. With a 1440p monitor, I have shadows low, terrain shadows flat, civ traffic off, MSAA 2x, everything else max...my FPS will dip below 60 in any aircraft on a busy ramp or carrier deck. Flying over Las Vegas or Persian Gulf cities, FPS will drop into the 60's...occasionally into the 50's with the Tomcat. This is without even running a mission of any sort. On my system, MSAA seems to be "free" as I don't see any increase in FPS with it off. I do see a drop in FPS with aliasing higher that MSAA 2x or SSAA 1.5 though.

I find turning Vsync Off in-game and running “Fast” in Nvidia CP works more smoothly. I’m currently playing the M-2000C Red Flag and the Spitfire Big Show campaigns without any trouble. Situations like the carrier deck are probably CPU bound and therefore your GPU or AA settings won’t matter. I had a 1080Ti prior and again it ran DCS in 4K really well. It’s the CPU that is the bottleneck in many situations. That 9700K should be a champ in that regard as well.

SharpeXB, could you please upload a printscreen with DCS graphic settings and nVidia CP settings ?

i think, however, that it is exclusive to nvidia gpus, which might be a consideration for ED. i would be very happy, if we could at least get SMAA: minimal performance impact, easy to implement, looks decent, can look very good in combinations with small amounts of SSAA or MSAA.

Blurring of the entire image is not for flight simulators solution, how to get rid of jagged/shimmering effect.

Here are the results I get in some different scenarios and my settings. Even the lowest one, the Nevada Cold & Dark feels smooth with the Nvidia Fast Vsync though. That situation is clearly CPU limited because turning AA off has no effect on the FPS.
