razorseal Posted February 21, 2019 Share Posted February 21, 2019 I didn't know F18 had that already. I thought only the F15 did as far as HOJ, you need to figure out distance. Maybe use AWACS for it, but since there is no range data, you won't know if your missile will reach the target, or which way it's going (cold/hot/flank etc) which also determines distance. I thought it was implemented because in the Caucasus Sparrow instant action mission the briefing tells the player to try both FLOOD and HOJ modes. Guess that's just a typo.
