Not SARH, but it will be fun shooting things down with BRM1 90, semi active laser homing:) Can’t wait for the first week videos of C-802AKG, I bet jousting with it might be a lot of fun. I’m always wondering if with the auto lock and that 285kg warhead if it might actually end up being tactically useful air to air. It so long ranged(but slow) you could probsbly shoot it way before even Tomcats are in range. Watch out any fleeing A-10s that make nice slow targets:)

And the BRM1 90, while it may not be able to lead a moving target, will give no warning except to those with laser detection. A lot of people won’t be expecting that!

What's a BRM-190? Also I don't remember if I've asked this before but what about the ALCM? Ra'ad?

The Ra’ad is a Pakistani ALCM(Air Launched Cruise missile). We are not getting Pakistani weapons. Atleast yet. I’m fine if we don’t, but it would be fun, Ra’ad has very long range. Deka has said they model the weapons they currently have data for. If a relationship is developed in the right place I’m sure it’s possible. However I don’t think I’ve even seen a picture of a JF-17 carrying it though not sure if it’s integrated. I think it’s carried by their Mirage ROSE

Well the devs are Chinese and it seems they're getting most of their information from China, not sure how much info Pakistan has been interested in giving them.

On that topic though, any chance we'll be getting Chinese dumb bombs/Laser Guided bombs as well? Or sticking with the Mk82/3/4 and Paveways?

I dont know if its off the table per say, I think they expressed interest in doing it if it became available later on. But they're focused on A- the EA payload and then some slight expansions of that currently.

But it likely all depends if they can get data and what not.

Oh nice, happy to see we're getting some more Chinese weapons. Is there an updated list? or were these just mentioned sporadically by DIS?

What is the max alt for CM-400AKG?

DCS has 328,000ft of modeled alt, after that missiles just disappear.

Also is there any information regarding if jf17 can carry and use 2 CM-400AKG at the same time?

I remember reading somewhere that It can carry up to 2 CM-400 but it is not possible to carry 2 in operational conditions because it cases weight balancing issues if 1 CM400 is fired and another is still on the pylon.

^^ It's Probably bogus since no source of information was given. It was just claimed by the person himself that he knows.

Ah yeah, I knew about the payload list, but I didn't remember the GB500 being on it. I thought it had also been added like the GB-6.

Yes, at least 5 (GB500 is a 500kg laser guided bomb), perhaps 7 GBU-12 if using double racks on stations 2 and 6 (or 6 GBU-12 plus a targeting pod).

Oops sorry, I've read that table like 100 times yet I didn't remember the gbu-12 were there lol :doh:

I wonder if we will get GBU-12 sized LS-6 or smaller. I am skeptical though how much range they would have without retracting wings. Always strikes me as being made that way for internal carriage by J-20/J-31/H-6/H-20. Almost looks like there are two 250kg variants, one that’s wide and has retracting wings and one that’s long and narrow with regular strakes and an IR seeker(I assume scene matching like JSOW B). Also found a GIF I hope works and a Chinese version of the SDB.

Still can’t figure out the difference with all the other FT TL and LT series, always thought they were just different factories but I see Luoyang on a lot of them

I for one am really glad that Deka, at least from the screenshots posted so far, are doing a super factory fresh and clean cockpit. I hope that isn't just WIP and it's going to get all scuffed and dirtied up for release. It's a recently developed plane so I hope the cleanliness is deliberate because of this and stays that way :)

Have only seen the ones in their videos which were not up to par compare to what we have in other modules. Understand they are remodeling the cockpit textures to higher grade.

Yes I hope they do not go the highly weathered cockpit texture route like was done in the Tomcat. Not a fan of dirty cockpit.

At that time, it was still in the WIP stage. Now, they have made corresponding adjustments, and the cabin interior is nearly completed. But don't worry, it's a lot cleaner than F14. It's not going to be very old

Releasing on 4th December sounds great. But what will be? EA or completed module?

Think like Tomcat, they have been trying to make it as complete as possible. We won’t have a couple radar modes that rely on ED API like DBS. We will have three liveries at first with many more to be added. All originally planned weapons are done. I’m sure there’s a few other things. Koaqumba is pretty sure AAR and more weapons will be added in EA. It would actually be pretty realistic to have block II functionality before air to air refueling, as only later block IIs had it. I personally hope for CM-400AKG someday:)
